Assembly Instructions

For Option 2 use a 1 1/2" Round Hole Saw to cut
hole.

Refer to Figure 2

1.

Cut a 1 1/2" hole on both sides of neck of air
box.

Important! After drilling 1 1/2" hole be sure to re-
move cutouts from inside of air box.

2.

Flatten screen by tapping with mallet.

3.

With cover over hole, align top of cover with top
crease of neck of air box. Use cover as a guide,
and with a center punch mark holes to bolt on
cover. Using a 9/64" drill bit, drill through the
marked holes.

4.

Place screen over 1 1/2" hole. Align screen with
top crease of neck of air box. Using the drilled
holes as a guide, tap through screen with a cen-
ter punch so screws will fit through screen.

5.

Place cover on top of screen aligning the holes.
Put two 10-16 x 1/2" screws through the holes.
Apply a bead of silicone along outside edge.

6.

Place screen and cover over 1 1/2" hole lining
up screws and the drilled holes. Tighten screws
securing cover and screen in place. Apply a
bead of silicone around outside edge of cover.

7.

Repeat steps to complete process on opposite
side of air box.

For Option 3 use a 1/2" Drill Bit to drill holes.

Refer to Figure 3

8.

Drill three1/2" holes on both sides of neck of air
box. Distance from center of hole to center of
next hole needs to be approximately 3/4".

9.

Drill second set of three 1/2" holes just below
the first set. Distance from center of hole to cen-
ter next hole needs to be approximately 3/4".

Important! After drilling 1/2" holes be sure to re-
move cutouts from inside of air box.

10. Flatten screen by tapping with mallet.

11. With cover over hole, align top of cover with top

crease of neck of air box. Use cover as a guide,
and with a center punch mark holes to bolt on
cover. Using a 9/64" drill bit, drill through the

marked holes.

12. Place screen over 1/2" holes. Align screen with top crease of

neck of air box. Using the drilled holes as a guide, tap through
screen with a center punch so screws will fit through screen.

13. Place cover on top of screen aligning the holes. Put two 10-16

x 1/2" screws through the holes. Apply a bead of silicone along
outside edge.

14. Place screen and cover over 1/2" holes lining up screws and

the drilled holes. Tighten screws securing cover and screen in
place. Apply a bead of silicone around outside edge of cover.

15. Repeat steps to complete process on opposite side of air box.
