Assembly Instructions
NOTE: When ordering and installing YP Martin Row Cleaner and
Mount, order kit by row spacing. For kit numbers, refer to page 2.
For Twin Row - Order and install either YP1225 or YP1625 Single
Arm Martin Row Cleaner. One kit will cover entire planter.
For 30” Row Spacings - Order and install either YP1225 or
YP1625 Martin Double Row Cleaner and Mount. One kit will cover
entire planter.
Martin Fertilizer Coulter
Refer to Figure 1
1. Remove mounting bracket included with Martin Fertilizer
Coulter Kit.
2. Replace mounting bracket from Martin Fertilizer Coulter Kit with
mounting plate included in Great Plains’ Yield-Pro® Martin
Row Cleaner Kit.
3. Attach mounting plate from Great Plains kit to opener. Use four
1/2-13 x 1 1/2 bolts from Great Plains kit to secure mounting
plate to opener.

4. Install coulter and spacer using three 1/2-13 x 2 3/4 bolts and 1/
2 hex nuts.
Refer to Figures 3 and 4
NOTE: Fertilizer coulter mounting is shown in Figures 3 and 4
for LH fertilizer coulter. RH coulter will be opposite.
Figure 3 shows height adjustment for the Martin Fertilizer
Coulter.
5. To adjust height, remove bolts securing coulter and spacer to
mouting plate.
6. Raise or lower coulter to desired height. NOTE: Do not move
spacer to adjust height.
7. Replace bolts to secure coulter at desired height.
NOTE: Figure 4 shows offset adjustment for the Martin Fertil-
izer Coulter.
8. To adjust offset, remove bolts securing coulter and
spacer to mounting plate. Remove spacer and coulter.
9. For 2” offset, place spacer on left-hand
side of mounting plate. Place coulter in
center slot of mounting plate.
10. For 3” offset, place spacer on in center
slot of mounting plate. Place coulter on
right-hand side of mounting plate.
11. Replace bolts and hardware to secure
spacer and coulter to mounting plate.
NOTE: 1” Offset not applicable with Great
Plains Yield-Pro® Row Unit.
