The control unit shall be designed to operate a maximum of 4 linear drives or telescopic columns in 24 V direct cur-
rent technology.

It shall have an integrated transformer and rectifi er with plug connection for the main cable and hand-held or foot
switch. It will also have up to 3 motor connections or 2 motors and 2 limits with switch connections.

The switch shall be an optimal hand-held or foot switch or an infrared receiver that can be plugged in directly at the
control element connection. All control, and motor supply cables are locked after correct connection and sealed by
sealing rings.

When in no-load operation, the Amico control unit shall be the auxiliary transformer which is active and maintain
only the control voltage for the operating element (standby circuit). The transformer shall have thermal protection
to avoid overheating.

The control box shall be ultrasonically welded.

Amico products comply with NFPA-99 and CSA Z7396.1.
