To edit an existing protocol:
1. Touch the Saved Files button on the home screen to open the saved files screen.
2. Select a file to edit (Figure 13).

3. Touch the Edit button to open the edit protocol screen. The protocol will display in a
graphical format.
4. Select a desired step by touching anywhere in the step.
5. Change a time or temperature by touching the desired button and entering a value using
the pop-up numeric keypad.
6. Change the reaction volume or lid temperature by touching the desired button and
entering a value using the pop-up numeric keypad.
7. Change the protocol name by touching the Name button and entering a protocol name
using the pop-up alphanumeric keypad.
8. Touch the Run button to run the protocol without saving it. Alternatively, touch the Save
button to choose a file name, location, and folder in which to save the protocol.
