The scale measures body mass using bioimpedance analysis. ITO electrodes form a
pattern on the top of scale, and send a small, safe signal through the body to
measure impedance.

The symbol indicates that this device provides a power source with a voltage low
enough that under normal conditions a person can safely come into contact with it
without risk of electrical shock.

WARNING

• Do not use if you have a pacemaker or any other internal medical device.
• Do not use if you are pregnant.
• Not intended for use by children under 10.
• Aria should not be used to diagnose or treat any medical condition. Always consult your

physician.
