Edit Your Route with Rubber-Band Routing
To edit your route by using rubber-band routing:
1. Touch a point along the existing route line and drag your
finger to the point that you want to add to the route.
2. After you release your finger, select the action that you
want to perform.
Name and Save a User Waypoint
You can name, add comments to, save and search for user
waypoints. To create and name a user waypoint:
1. Touch, hold, and release the enroute map in the area where
you want to insert a waypoint.
Mobile FliteDeck places a waypoint on the map and
displays the New Waypoint popover.
2. Tap Save Waypoint.
• Tap in the Name field and enter a name for the waypoint.
NOTE Waypoint names can include spaces, but cannot
include any special characters. For example, do not use any of
these characters:
: ] [ ? / < ~ # ` ! @ $ % ^ & * ( ) + = } | : " ; ' , > {.
• To enter comments, tap in the Comments field and enter
any comments that you want to associate with the waypoint.
3. Tap the Done button at the top of the popover when you
finish.
4. Tap Add to Route or, if available, Direct To.
NOTE User waypoints that are part of a route can be shared
between devices and are available in all enroute themes and
zoom scales.
