Systems with 1.35 V DDR3L memory modules operate at 1.5 V if any of the
following conditions exist:
•
Intel Xeon processor 7500 series.
•
A combination of standard and low voltage memory modules on system
board or memory risers.
•
Memory riser (PowerEdge R910) not marked with the Roman Numeral "II"
or system board (PowerEdge R810/M910) with Intel 7500 scalable memory
buffer.
DDR3L memory is backward compatible with Intel Xeon processor 7500
series and operates at standard voltage (1.5 V).

Description
System Memory
Voltage
Displays the current operating voltage of the system
memory.
Memory Operating
Voltage
(Auto default)
Sets the system memory voltage selection. When set to
Auto, the system automatically sets the system voltage to
the optimal setting based upon the DIMM capability and
the installed DIMM population. This also enables setting
the system memory voltage to a higher value (1.5 V) if the
DIMMs support multiple voltages and have been auto set
to a lower voltage of 1.35 V.
Redundant Memory
(Disabled default)
Sets the type of memory operation if a valid memory
configuration is installed. When set to Mirror mode,
memory mirroring is enabled, while the Spare mode allows
memory sparing. The DDDC mode option enables double
device data correction.
NOTE:
A valid DDDC configuration requires all installed
DIMMs with x4 DRAMs.
