Replacing the mSATA/WWAN Card
WARNING: Before working inside your computer, read the safety information

Procedure
1 Adhere the mylar on the mSATA/WWAN card.
2 Align the notch on the mSATA/WWAN card with the tab on the
mSATA/WWAN-card connector.
3 Insert the mSATA/WWAN card at a 45-degree angle into the mSATA/WWAN-card
connector.
4 Press the other end of the mSATA/WWAN card down into the slot on the I/O board
and replace the screw that secures the mSATA/WWAN drive to the palm-rest
assembly.
5 If you are replacing a WWAN card, connect the antenna cables to the connectors
on the WWAN card.
The following table provides the antenna-cable color scheme for the WWAN card
supported by your computer.

WWAN (2 antenna cables)
Main WWAN (white triangle) white with gray stripe
Auxiliary WWAN (black triangle) black with gray stripe
Postrequisites
1 Replace the battery. See "Replacing the Battery" on page 26.
2 Replace the speakers. See "Replacing the Speakers" on page 24.
3 Follow the instructions from step 2 to step 6 in "Replacing the Base Cover" on
page 15.
