Removing the Power/Battery Status-Light Board

Prerequisites
1 Follow the instructions from step 1 to step 7 in "Removing the Base Cover" on
page 12.
2 Remove the speakers. See "Removing the Speakers" on page 22.
3 Remove the battery. See "Removing the Battery" on page 25.
Procedure
1 Lift the connector latch and, using the pull-tab, disconnect the
power/battery-status-light cable from the system board.
2 Note the location of the tape that secures the power/battery status-light cable to
the palm-rest assembly, and then peel the tape.
3 Remove the screw that secures the power/battery status-light board to the
palm-rest assembly.
