Press Scroll (<>) to select Delay Fax and press Select (P).

 

6.

Enter the number of the remote machine using the number keypad.

To enter the number, you can use one, two, or three-digit speed dial or group dial numbers.

 

7.

Press Select (P) to confirm the number on the display. The display asks you to enter another fax number.

 

8.

Press Select (P) to enter the number.

OR

Press Scroll (<>) to select No and press Select(P).

Assign a name to the transmission using the keypad. For more information on how to enter the name using the number keypad, see

10.

Press Select (P). The display shows the current time and asks you to enter the start time when the fax is to be sent.

 

11.

Enter the time using the number keypad. Select AM or PM if 12 hour time format is selected.

 

12.

Press Select (P) when the start time displays correctly. Data Entry Ok is displayed.

 

13.

For documents loaded on the scanner glass, the display asks if you want to load another page. Select Yes to add. Otherwise, select No.

 

14.

The document is scanned into the memory.

 

15.

The printer returns to Standby mode and the fax is transmitted from memory at the selected time.

Protecting your Fax with a Passcode

Assign a passcode to the printer to protect it from unauthorized use.

 

Assigning a Passcode

 

1.

Press Scroll (<>) to select Fax and press Select (P).

 

2.

Press Scroll (<>) to select Advanced Fax and press Select (P).

 

3.

Press Scroll (<>) to select Secure Receive and press Select (P).

 

4.

Press Scroll (<>) to select On and press Select (P).

 

5.

Enter a four-digit passcode and press Select (P).

 

6.

Enter the same four-digit passcode to confirm and press Select (P).

 

7.

Press Cancel (V) to return to Standby mode.

The Passcode is now set.

The time format (i.e. 12 or 24 hour) is set during the initial startup step
