Follow the instructions in "
Preparing to Work Inside the Computer
."
2.
Remove the
keyboard
.
3.
Remove the
palm rest
.
4.
Remove the
microprocessor thermal-cooling assembly
.
5.
Pull straight up on the fan cable connector from the system board connector.
6.
Remove the two M2.5 x 8-mm screws from the fan, and pull the fan away from the system board.
