Lift the palm rest and remove it from the computer.

 

Replacing the Palm Rest

 

1.

Align the palm rest with the computer base and gently snap it into place.

 

2.

Reconnect the touch-pad connector and the standby switch connector to the system board.

 

3.

Tighten the captive screw on the palm rest.

 

4.

Turn the computer upside-down, and replace the eleven M2.5 x 8-mm screws on the bottom of the computer.

Turn the computer top-side up and replace the display assembly (see
