HINT: You must use

CD-R discs to burn music
CDs that you want to
play in regular stereos.
CD-RW discs do not play
in most home or car
stereos.

Insert a blank CD into the CD-RW drive and close the tray.
The recording starts automatically.

After the recording completes, click OK.

Turning On Your Computer

NOTICE: To avoid losing data, turn off your computer by performing a

than by pressing the power button.

HINT: As an alternative

to turning off your
computer, you can set
your computer to enter
standby or hibernate
mode.

Save and close any open files, exit any open programs, click the Start

button, and then click Turn Off Computer.

In the Turn off computer window, click Turn off. The computer turns

off after the shutdown process finishes.
