Removing a Battery
Before removing the battery, ensure that the computer is turned off or
disconnected from an electrical outlet.
CAUTION: When you remove the battery, ensure that the
computer is upside down on a flat work surface so that the
battery does not fall out of the computer.
1 Unlock the battery.
2 Slide and hold the battery latch all the way up until the left edge of the
battery pops up.
3 Remove the battery.
Installing a Battery
1 Ensure that the battery lock is in the unlocked position.
2 Slide the battery into the battery bay until the latch clicks.
3 Lock the battery.
