4.

Insert the tabs and lower the memory cooling fan and shroud until it snaps into place.

 

5.

Connect the memory cooling fan and shroud power cable to the system board. See

Figure 1

-5

.


 

6.

Close the system.

 

7.

Reconnect the system to the electrical outlet, and turn on the system.

Removing the Power Supply

 

 

1.

Turn off the system and attached peripherals, and disconnect the system from the electrical outlet.

 

2.

Open the system.

 

3.

Remove the expansion-card guide:

a.

 

Pull up on the expansion-card guide release lever. See

Figure 1

-6

.

b.

 

Slide the guide toward the power supply.

c.

 

Lift the guide out of the system.

 

4.

Disconnect the following power supply cables:

l

 

P3 connector for the hard drives. See

Figure 1

.

l

 

POWER 1 connector on the system board.

l

 

POWER 2 connector on the system board.
