Removing the Subwoofer Assembly

 

1.

Follow the procedures in

Before You Begin

.


 

2.

Remove the battery (see

Removing the Battery

).


 

3.

Follow the instructions from

step 2

to

step 19

in

Removing the System Board

.


 

4.

Loosen the three captive screws that secure the subwoofer assembly to the computer base.

 

5.

Lift the subwoofer assembly out of the computer base.

 

Replacing the Subwoofer Assembly

 

1.

Follow the procedures in

Before You Begin

.


 

2.

Place the subwoofer assembly on the computer base.

 

3.

Tighten the three captive screws that secure the subwoofer assembly to the computer base.

 

4.

Follow the instructions from

step 6

to

step 21

in

Replacing the System Board

.


 

5.

Replace the battery (see

Replacing the Battery

).
