Replacing the Heat-Sink Fans

 

1.

Follow the procedures in

Before You Begin

.


 

2.

Align the screw holes on the heat-sink fans with the screw holes on the chassis. Replace the four screws that secure the heat-sink fans to the chassis.

 

3.

Route the heat-sink fan cables through the routing guides on the chassis.

 

4.

Connect the heat-sink fan cables to the connectors on the system board.

6.

Replace the system-board shield (see

).


 

7.

Replace the inverter (see

8.

10.

Connect your computer and all attached devices to electrical outlets, and turn them on.
