Prerequisites
1 Remove the base cover .
2 Remove the battery .
Procedure
1 Peel off the tape that secures the battery-status light cable to the
keyboard-controls board.
2 Peel off the tape that secures the keyboard-controls board to the palm-
rest assembly.
