The indicators on the computer's control panel described in Table 1-1 are shown in Figure 1-5 :

Indicator Function
Power Green when the power supplies are turned on and the system is receiving power
Power-Supply Status Amber if a fault is detected with any of the power supplies, any system voltages, or redundant AC power line failure
Fan Status Amber when a fan failure is detected or temperature is out of bounds
PCI Slot Attention Amber when one or more or the PCI slots need attention.
Hard-disk drive fault Amber if a problem occurs with one of the internal hard-disk drives
Display System information messages during POST
