Removing the Hard Drive
1. Follow the procedures in Before Working Inside Your Computer .
2. Remove the battery .
3. Remove the base cover .
4. Remove the screws that secure the hard-drive assembly to the computer.
5. Pull up on the black hard-drive release tab and lift the hard-drive assembly up and away from the computer.
