Support Bracket

Removing the Support Bracket
1.
Follow the procedures in
Before You Begin
.
2.
Remove the computer cover (see
Removing the Computer Cover
).
3.
Remove the screw that secures the card retention bracket to the chassis.
4.
Push the card retention bracket towards the back of the computer.
5.
Note the routing of the cables through the clamp under the support bracket and remove the cables.
6.
Pivot the support bracket up and lift it off the hinge-tab slot.
7.
Set the support bracket aside in a secure location.
Replacing the Support Bracket
