Removing the Bluetooth Module

  

Replacing the Bluetooth Module

 

 

 

If you ordered a card with Bluetooth

®

wireless technology with your computer, it is already installed.

 

Removing the Bluetooth Module

 

1.

Follow the instructions in

Before You Begin

.


 

2.

Remove the battery (see

Removing the Battery

).


 

3.

Remove the keyboard (see

Removing the Keyboard

).


 

4.

Remove the palm rest (see

Removing the Palm Rest

).


 

5.

Remove the screw that secures the Bluetooth module to the connector on the system board.

 

6.

Lift the Bluetooth module away from the system board.

 

Replacing the Bluetooth Module

 

1.

Follow the instructions in

Before You Begin

.


 

2.

Align the connector on the Bluetooth module with the connector on the system board and press the Bluetooth module until it is fully seated.

 

3.

Replace the screw that secures the Bluetooth module to the system board.
