Replacing the Touchpad

Procedure
1 Slide the tabs on the touchpad into the slots on the palm rest.
2 Replace the screws that secure the touchpad to the palm rest.
3 Slide the touchpad cable into the touchpad connector and press down
on the connector latch to secure the cable.
4 Turn the palm rest over.
Post-requisites
1 Follow the procedure from step 3 to step 9 in “Replacing the Palm Rest ”.
2 Replace the keyboard .
3 Follow the procedure from step 4 to step 6 in “Replacing the Hard Drive ”.
4 Replace the base cover .
5 Replace the battery .
