CD Mode
The CD player supports audio discs, CD-R and CD-RW. Do
not attempt to load CD-ROM, CDi, VCDs, DVDs or data CDs
in this device.
Though this device is able to read CD-R and CD-
RW discs, disks which are scratched, scuffed or of
otherwise poor quality may not be read. Failure to
play back CD-R or CD-RW disks does not necessar-
ily indicate a device malfunction.
To use the CD Player
Set the FUNCTION SELECTOR to CD. The display will 
briefly indicate your selection.
To open the CD player door, raise it by the corner

marked OPEN/CLOSE.
Insert a CD, CD-R or CD-RW disc with the printed

surface facing up. Gently press the player door to
close it.
Press PLAY/PAUSE to begin playback. Press again to

pause/resume.
To stop CD playback, press STOP.

CD playback stops automatically when the CD
compartment is opened, the radio function is
selected, or at completion of the final track.
