NOTES ON BATTERIES
1. When not using the camera for a long
period, remove batteries.
2. Battery power falls off in extremely
cold temperatures—make sure bat
teries are new and keep the camera
body wrapped in something warm.

4. Do not throw used batteries into a fire.
5. if the battery chamber is contaminated
by battery ieakage, take the camera to
an authorized Nikon dealer.
3. When replacing batteries, be sure to
replace all batteries at the same time.
Always use fresh batteries of the
same brand.
Compared with regular batteries,
NiCd batteries provide greater effi
ciency at low temperatures. Before
charging NiCd batteries, throughly
read the instructions for batteries
and battery charger.
