Shooting with the Best Shot Dial

To easily take great pictures, simply turn the dial and

choose a mode suitable for the subject you are shooting.

The camera will automatically select
the appropriate settings, such as AF

and flash {-► p, 42),

Turn the dial to select the

desired mode.

Red-eye reduction indicator

In flash photography, the red-eye reduction lamp

lights up for about t second before the shutter is
released.

Flash OFF indicator

The flash will not fire.

Flash ON indicator

The flash will fire.

Slow-synchro indicator

The flash fires with a slow shutter speed

Spot metering indicator

The camera focuses on one point in the center of the
frame.

Continuous shooting indicator

Continuous shooting for as long as the shutter button
is pressed. (Max. 1 frame/sec.)
