Starting BIOS Setup
The CP307/CP307-V is provided with a Kontron-customized, pre-installed and configured ver-
sion of AMI’s BIOS. This BIOS is based on the AMIBIOS®8 core which provides a variety of
new and enhanced functions specifically tailored to the hardware features of the CP307/
CP307-V.
To take advantage of these functions, the BIOS comes with a setup program which provides
quick and easy access to the individual function settings for control or modification of the BIOS
configuration.
The setup program allows the accessing of various menus which provide functions or access
to sub-menus with more specific functions of their own. The individual menus and the config-
urable functions are described in this guide.
To start the BIOS Setup program, follow the steps below:
Note:
The <Delete> key is normally used to start the BIOS Setup program. If the CP307/
CP307-V is connected to a terminal, use the <F4> key to start the BIOS Setup pro-
gram.

Power on the board

Press the <Delete> key on your keyboard when the following text prompt appears:
Press DEL to run Setup

After pressing the <Delete> key, the CP307/CP307-V Main BIOS Setup screen is displayed. Access is
now available to all of the other setup screens by simply selecting the appropriate menu tab.
