Practical hints
Opening/closing in an emergency
Power tilt/sliding sunroof
You can open or close the tilt/sliding sun-
roof manually should an electrical malfunc-
tion occur.
The tilt/sliding sunroof drive is located be-
hind cover
1 of the interior overhead
light.
1 Cover
̈ Remove the SmartKey from the starter
switch.
̈ Press on cover 1 in direction of the ar-
row to release it.
2 Hole
3 Crank
̈ Take crank 3 out of the glove box.
̈ Insert crank 3 through hole 2.
̈ Turn crank 3 clockwise to:
ț slide sunroof closed
ț raise sunroof at the rear
̈ Turn crank 3 counterclockwise to:
ț slide sunroof open
ț lower sunroof at the rear
i Do not disconnect the electrical connectors.
i Turn crank 3 slowly and smoothly.
The tilt/sliding sunroof must be synchronized af-
ter being operated manually (
