The Kreativ Model Klean Air

II is a highly efficient, compact, state-of-the-art
instrument designed for air filtration. It is designed to be used with the dental office high
velocity evacuation (HVE) to eliminate overspray from air abrasion procedures.
Purpose of this Manual
This manual should be thoroughly studied before using the equipment. Please call your
nearest authorized Welch Allyn / Kreativ service representative if you need additional
information regarding installation, operation, or service of the unit.
Information essential to the installation, operation, and routine maintenance of the Klean
Air II device manufactured by Kreativ, Inc., is included in this manual.
General Information and Features
A combination pre/charcoal filter serves two distinct purposes. The pre-filter captures
aluminum oxide particles, old composites and other large particles. The charcoal
removes most dental office odors and gasses.
A third-stage filter eliminates the biological aerosol created by a high speed drill. This
HEPA filter, similar to the type used in a hospital operating room, removes 99.97% of
airborne biological contaminants down to 0.3 microns in size.
