This procedure describes how to upgrade to the Clinician Notifier 1.3x program on a
Motorola MC50/MC5040 PDA.
Upgrading to Clinician Notifier 1.3x
To upgrade to Clinician Notifier 1.3x, do the following:
1. Make sure that Acuity 8.1x and WACS 2.5x are installed and running at your facility.
2. Make sure your device is registered on the WACS 2.5x server. If the device isn’t
registered, see the instructions in the Welch Allyn Connectivity Server Directions for
use (part number 104215) to register your device.
3. Start the Clinician Notifier application on your device.
The Clinician Notifier 1.3x client is automatically downloaded and installed.
