Turning the Power ON and OFF

The VB-C50Fi itself does not have a power switch. You can switch the VB-C50Fi on by plugging
the AC adapter into a wall outlet. The LED flashes when the VB-C50Fi is communicating. When
the power supply is turned ON, the LED momentarily flashes.

Note

● Wait at least 5 seconds before turning the power back on after shutting it off. Turning

it on too quickly may result in a malfunction. Observe the precautions given in “a
Safe Use of Equipment/a IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS” (

→ P.xii).

If the picture recording function is being used, shutting off the power or

restarting the VB-C50Fi will cause all pictures to be deleted.

2. Connect the Camera to the Network

Next, connect the camera. Connect the camera to the network by connecting the camera and PC

via the hub with a LAN cable .

* Do not plug the AC cable power

plug into the wall socket yet.
