This unit can be used to control a connected
Apple iPod (third generation version 2.2, fourth
generation version 3.01/3.02, iPod Mini version
1.2).

Notes:
• Note that iPod versions later than those noted

above may not be playable.

• The unit will not operate, or may operate

improperly with unsupported versions.

• First and second generation iPods cannot be used.

Notes regarding use of Apple iPod

• When using an iPod, after connecting the iPod to

the connector, select the iPod mode by either
pressing the [SOURCE] button, or by touching
the iPod icon on the SOURCE menu.

• After the iPod has been connected to this unit,

the iPod’s buttons are disabled for operation.

• When the iPod mode has been selected, a

special iPod control screen is displayed different
from the main menus for other modes.

• The remote control unit cannot be used to

perform scan, repeat or random play.

• This unit can display the SONG title, ARTIST

name, and ALBUM title of tracks recorded on the
iPod. When no track data is present, the title
display will remain blank.

• During VISUAL mode, if VISUAL AUX SENS

setting is changed, the playback volume in the
iPod mode will also be changed.

• The iPod is used with the equalizer function

turned OFF.

Precautions regarding battery
consumption:

When the iPod’s internal battery becomes
depleted, the recharge warning indicator
will appear in the iPod’s display. In this
condition, the iPod cannot be played even
if attached to the VRX755VD. Also, the
VRX755VD’s recharging function cannot
be used to recharge the iPod.

As a result, when the iPod’s battery
becomes depleted, use the dedicated
charger provided with it to recharge the
battery.

2-ZONE Function

• If VISUAL is selected for SUB zone, the 2-

ZONE function will be canceled when the iPod
is connected.

• When the iPod is connected, playback is

supported only when SUB zone is set to DVD
mode.

• When connecting the iPod, the iPod mode can

be selected in the MAIN zone, regardless of
the ON/OFF setting of the 2-ZONE function.

Controlling the iPod

Select the iPod mode

1. Connect the iPod to the connector.

2. Press the [SOURCE] button.

• The iPod mode can also be selected by

touching the iPod icon on the SOURCE
menu.

[REPEAT] key

Switches repeat mode in order 1-track Repeat

All Repeat

Repeat OFF.

The default mode is All Repeat.

All Repeat is performed for the selected item.
For example, if ALBUMS is selected, all tracks
recorded on the album will be played repeatedly.

[PLAY LIST] key

Press to display the play list. During playback of
a play list, the icon turns orange.

[BROWSE] key

Press to display the browse menu, allowing
selections to be made from the item key
(ARTISTS, ALBUMS, SONGS, GENRES, or
COMPOSERS).

When a track is selected from this menu, the
icon turns orange.

[2ZONE] key

Touch continuously (for about 1 second or
more) to switch the 2-ZONE function ON (the
icon turns orange). Touch again to turn OFF.
