■ Receiving EON data
• TA and AF functions will be enhanced with RDS
information.
•TA : Traffic information from other stations can
be received, too.
•AE : The AE list of RDS stations is always
updated.
Example
• Even if you preset a station at a faraway
location, AE allows you to receive the
same program at home,
• Or AF automatically tunes in to a station
that is broadcasting the same program.
(This function is useful when reception is
poor.)
• AF allows you to seek TP stations in local
areas.
■ Emergency announcement
• "ALARM” blinks and the announcement is
received automatically.
• Emergency announcements are received auto­
matically except in the AM mode.
■ Clock adjustment
• RDS service automatically adjusts the integrated
clock.
