Objective: Depart the assigned run-
way, turn to a 010° heading and
climb to 3000 feet. Prior to hover
perform the autopilot preflight proce-
dures as described on page 47.
1. Prior to takeoff, press the FD
switch. Select the assigned altitude
in the altitude selector of the altime-
ter/vertical speed indicator. ARM
Altitude Select by depressing the
ALT SEL pushbutton. Set the head-
ing bug for the assigned departure
heading.
