3.8 Connecting the Electrical Power
When power is applied, all LED indicators will light amber.
3.8.1 AC Power
The 9145ELB uses a standard IEC320 AC Power Connector with C13/C14 couplers. Plug the
AC power cord into the socket at the front of the 9145ELB and plug the other end of the AC
power cord into a convenient AC outlet.
3.8.2 DC Power
The DC Power Terminal Block ( Figure 3-6) is removable for ease of installation and replacement.
We recommend that you remove the Terminal Block from the power supply module when you
connect the power leads to avoid damaging the 9145ELB or your DC power source.
CAUTION: The wire leads must be disconnected from the power source before starting.
CAUTION: The DC 9145ELB is only intended to be used in a restricted access location in
accordance with Articles 110-16, 110-17, and 110-18 of the National Electric Code ANSI/
NFPA 70.
