Using the Player Independently

Playing an audio CD

If you are using batteries, you can enjoy listening to music under stable conditions. It is

recommended not to play an audio CD while walking or jogging. If you want to play an

audio CD without disconnecting from your computer, be sure to open and close the disc
cover before playing to guarantee the player’s buttons function properly.

Caution:

• It is not safe to listen to headphones while driving a car.

Be sure the VOLUME control is set to 2-4 to avoid hearing very loud sound.

Press POWER switch to

turn on the player.

Plug your headphones (not supplied)

into the PHONES jack.

Note:

• You can also listen to the music by

connecting amplified speakers (not

supplied).

Starts/pauses playing an audio CD.

Skips to the next track by pressing once.

Continues skipping tracks if you hold down.

Returns to the beginning of the track being played by pressing once.

Continues reversing tracks if you hold down.

Stops playing an audio CD.
