Changing subtitle language

DVD

•It is possible to change the subtitle language from the one selected

at the initial settings to a different language, if available.

•This operation works only with discs on which multiple subtitle lan­

guages are recorded.

by remote control only

Press [SUB TITLE] ([SHIFT]+[TITLE]) during
play.

When no subtitles are recorded"—” will be displayed instead of
the language number.

Q Press [A] or [T] until the desired language is

selected.

Pressing the numeric button(s) also changes the subtitle lan­
guage.

To clear the display

Press [SUB TITLE] or [SELECT].

To clear/display the subtitles

Press [-^] or [►] to select ON or OFF at the step Q.

The subtitle language may not change immediately.

For your reference

•When the preferred language is not selected even after pressing

[A] or [▼] several times, it means that the language is not available
on the disc.

•When the power is turned on or the disc is removed, subtitles ap­

pear in the language selected at the initial settings.

Changing audio soundtrack language

•This operation works only with discs on which multiple audio sound­

track languages are recorded.

Press [AUDIO] during play.

When no audio soundtrack is recorded, “—’ will be displayed

instead of the language number.

Press [ A ] or [▼] until the desired language is
