► Basic Transmission Settings

Halftone

The Halftone setting is useful when sending photographs or illustrations with gray tones. Your machine is

preset to HALFTONE = Off. You can select either Fast mode or Quality mode.

Note: When you select HALFTONE, FAST or QUALITY, your machine will automatically select Fine Resolution.

Verification Stamp

The Verification Stamp helps you to confirm successful transmissions by stamping the bottom of each

successfully transmitted page with a small

<S>

mark.

Press I STAMP I to:

Note: 1. When you store a document in memory, the Verification Stamp will stamp on the document if it is

successfully stored in memory. In this case the Verification Stamp is not a confirmation that the
document was successfully transmitted. If you wish to disable the use of the Verification Stamp when
storing document in memory, change the setting of Fax Parameter No. 28, see page 36.

2. To change the preset Verification Stamp position, change the setting of Fax Parameter No. 04, see

page 35.
