Adjusting the Volume
Ringer Volume
You can adjust the ringer volume so that the fax
machine rings at a comfortable level when it
receives a call. Move the RINGER VOLUME
control on the handset cradle to the level desired,
either high, normal, or off.
Monitor Volume
When the fax machine is making a call, you hear
the dial tone, the dialling signals, and the ring-back
tone or busy signal through the built-in speaker.
You also hear the called person's voice through the
speaker if the other station is set to manual
reception.
Slide the MONITOR VOLUME lever on the right
side of the machine to adjust the volume to a
comfortable level.
