Appendix B: FX TRACK PARAMETERS

In this appendix, the parameters of the FX track are shown and explained, one page at a time.

DELAY

TIM (Delay Time) sets the delay time. It is relative to the current
BPM and is measured in 128th notes. For instance, a setting of
32 equals a one beat delay (four sixteenth notes). Range (1-
128).

X (Pingpong) controls how the delay signal will act in the stereo
field.

0 to manually place the delay signal in the stereo field. The

WID parameter controls the location.

1 to make the delay signal alternate between left and right

pan positions. The WID parameter controls the amount of
panning.

WID (Stereo Width) controls the stereo width or location of the
delay signal. The knob is bipolar. Range (-64-+63)

FDB (Feedback) controls how much of the delay output that will
be fed back into the input of the delay. With higher parameter
settings, infinite and/or swelling delays are possible to achieve.
Please be aware that high feedback can lead to a very loud sig-
nal, and that the DOV parameter on the DISTORTION page can
further increase the feedback. Easy Listening for the Hard of
Hearing.
Range (0-198).

HPF (HP Filter) controls the highpass filtering of the delay signal.
Range (0-127).

LPF (LP Filter) controls the lowpass filtering of the delay signal.
Range (0-127).

REV (Reverb Send) controls how much of the Delay output sig-
nal that will be sent to the Reverb. Range (0-127).

VOL (Mix Volume) adjusts the volume of the Delay output signal.
The output is routed either before or after the Distortion and
Compressor effects, depending on the setting of the DEL param-
eter on the DISTORTION page. Range (0-127).

DELAY

The Delay send effect takes a duplicate of the input signal, delays it in time and then rejoins it with the original signal. It
can also be used to pingpong in the stereo field, feedback and filter the delay signal.
