DISASSEMBLY (FIELD STRIP)
MAKE CERTAIN THAT FIREARM IS UNLOADED
BEFORE BEGINNING DISASSEMBLY.
1. Unload the firearm(see page 26), and
visually inspect that the chamber is empty
(Figure 7).

2. Manually retract the slide until the slide
disassembly notch is aligned with the slide
stop tab (Figure 10).

6. Continue procedure until magazine is empty
and slide is locked open.
7. If all rounds have not been fired and you wish
to stop shooting, remove the magazine,
immediately engage slide stop and follow
procedures for unloading as previously
described.
