System Requirements
The Ascent 7.0 Release Script for FileNet Panagon Content Services requires the following
components to be installed prior to installing this release script.
FileNet Panagon Content Services Server Support
The Ascent 7.0 Release Script for FileNet Panagon Content Services requires the following
network server components:

FileNet Panagon Content Services 5.2 with Service Pack 003, FileNet Panagon Content
Services 5.3, or FileNet Panagon Content Services 5.4
„
FileNet supported database
Note This release script was tested using FileNet Panagon Content Services 5.2 with Service
Pack 003 on SQL Server 2000 with Service Pack 3. Additional testing was performed using FileNet
Panagon Content Services 5.3 and FileNet Panagon Content Services 5.4 on Windows 2000 Server
with Service Pack 4.
Client Operating System Support
The Ascent 7.0 Release Script for FileNet Panagon Content Services supports the following client
client operating systems:

Windows 2000 Professional with Service Pack 4
„
Windows 2000 Server with Service Pack 4
„
Windows Server 2003 (Standard or Enterprise Edition)
„
Windows XP Professional with Service Pack 2
Note At the time of publishing these release notes, the Ascent 7.0 Release Script for FileNet
Panagon Content Services was certified with the Service Packs listed above.
Administration and Release Workstations – Additional Requirements
The Ascent Capture Administration and Release workstations must have the following
components installed:

Ascent Capture 7.0, Ascent Capture 7.5, Kofax Capture 8, or Kofax Capture 9

Panagon IDM Desktop 3.2a with Patch 007 (IDM Desktop for viewing), FileNet IDM
