Maintaining Tasks
Two tasks control how SAP links images to records in SAP workitems:
▪ TA Entry opens the transaction for data entry. This is task 80000142.
▪ Image Assign assigns the image in the background. This is task 80000141.
Various business objects call the first task, depending on the transaction. For example, FI
transactions call the BKPF task and MM transactions call the BUS2081 task. Create your own
tasks as follows:
1 In SAP, enter transaction code PFTC and create a new standard task with the following
settings.
Store with Barcode scenario
Business Object = IMAGE
Method = IMAGEAssignLate
Store with Subsequent Entry scenario
Business Object = IMAGE
Method = IMAGEAssignEarly
2 Click the green Enter button.
3 Click Yes to transfer missing elements from the object method.
4 Add the structure DCM_DOCDATA to store the index data:
