Calibrate
Calibration Notes
• Dirt or dust in the optics area will cause an
inaccurate calibration reading. Therefore, always
use the protective cap, if no readings are taken.
• The standards and light trap should be cleaned
periodically. For cleaning procedure see section
"Cleaning and Maintenance“. Please make sure
that the standards are not scratched.
• Do not move the instrument while taking a
calibration measurement. If motion is detected,
an error message will be displayed and
calibration is aborted.
• When moving from cold to warm environment,
there is a danger of condensation. For this
reason, you should wait for an appropriate
amount of time to allow the optical components
to adjust before calibrating and using the unit.
