HV-P — Hovering Pitch

The Hovering Pitch function may be used to trim the rotor pitch near hover without

affecting the throttle setting. Changes in rotor speed caused by temperature, humidity, or other

conditions can be accommodated. When used with the hovering throttle function, more exact

trimming is possible.

Hovering pitch is controlled by the hovering pitch knob. When the hovering pitch knob

is turned clockwise, the rotor pitch increases, and when turned counterclockwise, the rotor pitch

decreases. Its settings may vary between values of +100% to -100%.

Using the Hovering Pitch Function

1. Press one of the

MODE SELECT

buttons until the

HV-P

window appears.

The percent indicator should be flashing.

2. Move the hovering pitch knob to its center position. Now you can adjust the hovering point

with the (+) or (–)

DATA INPUT

keys, anywhere between -100 and +100% (to return to the

default 0%, press both

DATA INPUT

keys).

SWSH — Swashplate Type & AFR

The Swashplate Type function allows you to choose from any of the four swashplate

types. (S1, S2, SR3 or SN3) You can also use Swash AFR rate settings to reduce (or increase)

the function rate when S2, SR3 or SN3 type is selected as the swash type. The function rate

reduction or increase for the aileron, elevator, and pitch may be controlled by this menu.

S1 Type: This type’s helicopter has independent aileron and elevator servos linked to the
swashplate. Most kits are S1 type. (SWSH1)

and right. With Pitch inputs, the aileron and pitch servos raise the
swashplate up and down.
