SYSTEM SETUP

Receiver adjustment

Once the number and position of the speakers has been fixed,

you can adjust the initial receiver settings for optimum

surround sound with the actual setup;

Set which speakers have been connected to the receiver

(see "Menus/BPEIRKf? REIUP").

Note: The initial setting of your receiver is:

two front speakers left and right: present

(cannot be altered)
center speaker: present

two rear speakers: present

subwoofer: present

Select the size of the speakers (5MRLL orLRPGP)

(see "Menus/5PERKR SIZES").

Select SriRLL if your speaker is able to reproduce low

notes down to at least 80-100 Hz,

Select LRPGE if your speaker is able to reproduce low

notes down to at least 50 Hz.

(As a rule of thumb, a LRPGE speaker has a cone diameter

of at least 12 cms (5 inches).)

See the specification sheets of your speakers.

Note: The Initial setting of your receiver is:

all speakers: LRRGZ

Set the distance from the speakers to the listener's position

(see "Menus/5PK ilGIRWEE").

Note: The initial setting of your receiver is:

all speakers: 10 feet (3 meters)
