Connections & installation

This chapter explain how to connect your satellite receiver to equipments you already have, such as TV-

set and video-recorder.

o According to your different possibilities, make the connections as follow:

Once the connections are made, except the antenna connection, proceed as follow:

o Connect your TV-set as well as your video-recorder on mains and switch them ON.

o Connect your satellite receiver on mains.

How to connect your audio stereo equipment

If you wish to use your Hi-Fi system to listen to programmes, you must connect your stereo installation

into the AUDIO cinch connectors on the rear panel of your receiver.

o Connect the «AUDIO L» -Left channel- and the «AUDIO R» -Right channel- plugs into the right and left

input cinch connectors of your stereo equipment.

Do not connect «AUDIO L/R» into the «PHONO» sockets of your stereo equipment.

Installing your remodulator

If you have made coaxial cables antenna connections only you must create a new programme. You must

create a new programme on your TV-set -and your video-recorder- to be able to watch satellite program­

mes. To do that:

o Place the switch «TSG» -on the rear panel- on the «ON» position.

o Make sure on your TV-set that the reception of terrestrial channels as well as on your video recorder is not

disturbed.
