Using the On-Screen Display
and DVD Display

DISPLAY
You can view information about a disc and its operationai status on the
TV screen and DVD display.

You can view the current title number, track number, and total
playing time of the disc on the TV screen and DVD display. You can view the elapsed time, remaining time, and operation
status of the disc on the TV screen and DVD display.

When an audio CD is in the DVD video player, the
TOTAL indicator and total playing time of the disc
appear.
To turn off the on-screen display
DISPLAY

Press DISPLAY again.
Total number of titles indication when inserting a
DVD video disc___________________________________
OPEN/CLOSE Place a DVD video disc in the disc tray, then
press OPEN/CLOSE to close the disc tray.
Total number of titles appears for about three seconds
Some DVD video discs start playback
automatically when you insert them. In this case,
the total number of titles does not appear.
When you insert an audio CD, the total number of
tracks and total playing time appear for about three
seconds.
