SCAN MODE
SCAN
The SCAN function can be switched on from the STOP and PLAY mode.
• Press SCAN; the word SCAN appears. Only the first few seconds of each track
are played.
• As soon as you press PLAY1>, the SCAN function is cancelled (the word SCAN
disappears) and the CD is played in the normal way from this track number on­
wards.
• If you press NEXT kh orwa PREVIOUS, the SCAN function remains operative
and the beginning of the next c-w or previous km track is played for a few seconds.
• If the SCAN function is not cancelled by pressing PLAY 1> or STOP D, the CD
player automatically returns to STOP as soon as the end of the CD is reached.
MODE (SHUFFLE and REPEAT)
By pressing the MODE button several times, all play modes will successively ap­
pear on the display;
1 X REPEAT 1 to repeat the the actual title continuously;
2 X REPEAT ALL to repeat the CD continuously;
3 X SHUFFLE to play the CD in a random order;
4 X SHUFFLE REPEAT to repeat the CD continuously in a random order;
5 X NORMAL (no display indication) to cancel the SHUFFLE and REPEAT modes.
If the word MEMORY is also visible on the display, only the titles stored in the
memory will be played.
To cancel the REPEAT and SHUFFLE modes, choose NORMAL mode (no display
indication).
