Cortana, your new personal assistant
Ever wish you had someone who helped you remember stuff or suggest
things you might like? Cortana is just like that, except she lives in your
HTC One. And she does a whole lot more.
Cortana can help you make calls, send messages, mark down important
dates, and more.
And the more you use HTC One, the more Cortana will know about the
things you like. She'll start suggesting things that could be of interest to
you like an upcoming concert or a movie.
She'll even tell you a joke or two.
To use Cortana, HTC One must be connected to the Internet.
Getting started with Cortana
You may have turned on Cortana when you set up your phone. If you
didn't, you can get started with Cortana right from the Start screen.
1. Tap the Cortana tile on the Start screen. Cortana introduces herself
and asks for permission to be your personal assistant.
2. Tap sure.
